KTA 12: Feedback From Ian and Witness Statement



My feedback from Ian was very clear and straight to the point. I need to think about addressing my target audience in a better fashion and try and include them in the festival more. My flyer is very simplistic, which he said he liked, however he thought it may be outdated due to the fact that the technique has been used before and no longer works like it once did, so more information needs to be put on the flyer. He felt that although the logo was simple, it needed more to it and either be more clever or have more going on. He felt that the brand recognition was good and all the pieces shared a great likeness, and he felt I had a great understanding of the business that goes on when brand recognition is created. He felt that the colour scheme used was not eye catching enough and that there needed to be a change here to make the pieces stand out more.
To improve my design, I must:

  • Change the colour scheme to make it more eye catching for the target audience
  • Change the logo so it is more suitable for the target audience
  • Change the flyer design to make it stand out and also add more information to the flyer its self
  • Change the billboard poster so it has less information and fill more of the space
